1951 Ariel KH 500 rolling chassis in good general condition. The frame number (SB 724) indicates 1951. It is clean, straight, has all its lugs and appears unmolested from new – the plunger nuts look as though they’ve never had a spanner on them!

The petrol tank is Ariel and has been professionally restored and painted. It is sound. The oil tank also appears sound although there are indications of rust on the outside. It is oil tight. The front and rear wheels are complete and include spindles, brake shoes, springs, cams etc. Both 19″ rims are straight. Top yoke is 1951-53 type with speedometer recess. Handlebar U clamps and hard-to-find saddles (chromed) are included. Steering head bearing races and balls (new) are in excellent condition. Headlamp ears and spring shrouds are in excellent. The forks have all the main components but will need reconditioning.
