1949 TRIUMPH GP

1949 TRIUMPH GP

Ernie Lyons win in the 1946 Manx GP on a highly tuned Tiger 100. His machine had an ally head and barrel purloined from a wartime generator. The GP that followed was fast and furious and, with a sprung hub, wobbled all over the place. Nonetheless, Triumph GPs are very thin on the ground. A decent one with good provenance will fetch upwards of $60k
